So although these providers claim that they are giving you unlimited space, it&#039;s actually pseudo-unlimited. And yes even if the deletion is accidental, the change is reflected in the server. Only the data present in your PC is backed up. However CrashPlan is unique in this way. It doesn&#039;t give you pseudo-unlimited space, it&#039;s actually unlimited. Even if you delete a file from your PC, the file stays in it&#039;s servers, that is unless you delete it yourself from the management console. However take note that these policies can change anytime. These are valid as of today :) .
