There is no shortage of myths circulating that falsely claim to improve PC performance. From allegations of a “secret” CPU setting, Dr. Watson misunderstandings, to Prefetch misconceptions – the PC world is rife with myths that need to be busted — and explained. This podcast does just that, tackling the myths about PC performance that stubbornly endure.  We tested many of these untruths, so we can help you differentiate fact from fiction, as well as offer helpful tips that actually work. Tune in, and see how you can ensure optimal PC performance, without falling for these urban legends that might actually hurt your PC’s performance, rather than help it.

  1. I have problems processing and remembering the procedures to do what appears to be what is needed to fix my computer. I am not able do to medical problems to read so much stuff and to follow simple direction. I put that I am a novice but, actually have had a running computer since 1989. In the past I have had children at home to help me through my dificulties. My sixth child is now at BYI about 700 miles away. Do you know any programs tthat will make all these things so I can use them.

  2. Hi Steve, thanks for your e-mail! So tell us a little bit more about your problem: Did you encounter startup problems? If you see a error message on your screen, that would help incredibly! The more info we get, the more likely will we be able to solve your problem!
