Speed Up that Slow PC – 200 Programs Experiment
It’s no secret that the more programs you install on your PC, the slower it will eventually become. However, with all of the advances in computers and operating systems, like Windows 7, the TuneUp Blog team wanted to test this theory out to see if it’s actually still true. This podcast discusses how and why too many programs affect your PC’s performance, and offers useful tips to keep your computer in top shape. It also includes detailed benchmark test results from an experiment the TuneUp Blog team conducted; we loaded a PC with 200 programs to see how drastically the performance would be affected, and if the PC’s performance could be restored, by removing all 200 programs. Tune in, and see how you can keep your PC running smoothly and avoid the mess of having too many programs installed!
