TuneUp Expands Into Japan with User Giveaway
TuneUp recently launched the latest version of its award-winning PC optimization software, TuneUp Utilities 2010, in Japan. The software supports the 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows7, Windows XP, and Vista.
Starting June 1, consumers in Japan were able to download the software at http://www.tuneup-software.jp/ and get a free, fully-functional 15-day trial.
As always, TuneUp welcomed feedback and suggestions on the Japanese version—and the first 1,000 users who responded were given free license keys. As part of this Japan-based promotion, users were entered into a prize drawing, in which one lucky person will receive a Wiki Reader, 25 people will receive a pokenPulse (with 2 GB USB memory), and 40 people will receive an Amazon.co.jp gift card.
The winners will be announced on August 15. In the meantime, stay up-to-date on TuneUp in Japan via Twitter at @TuneUpJapan. Of course, like the entire campaign, the Twitter feed is in Japanese.
