Who are we?

Our blog is written by a team made up of certified Microsoft experts, authors, and editors from major computer magazines. The people behind this blog also head up one of the most successful tuning suites around, called  TuneUp Utilities. We have lived and breathed Windows right from the start and know the Windows kernel inside and out.

What do we write about?

The TuneUp Blog covers tips and tricks for optimizing, streamlining, and troubleshooting Windows. Updated on a regular basis, we point out new optimization techniques and offer exclusive behind-the-scenes information on the ins and outs of Windows . This blog helps you be more productive by getting things done in new and clever ways. We cover everything from Windows XP to 7 including anything else Microsoft puts out.

Why do we blog?

Some of us are involved in developing a tuning product for Windows, and we’ve always had the urge to share our knowledge with our users. It is our goal to offer users help with Windows including the daily tasks and any problems that come with it. We think it is also important to finally address all the myths about Windows optimization out there. That’s why we’re here!

Will this turn out to be an advertising site for your software?

Absolutely not! This is our promise to you. After all, are you really going to keep reading if we hammer you with a sales pitch? We’re in a position to talk about these issues because we are involved in developing a tuning product firsthand. Shameless plugs will be used, but only if our product serves as the easiest way to solve a problem (there are cases when this happens). AND, to keep us honest, read what we write about and tell us what you think!
